Spring
Machine ComponentsAs Per Products
The spring is shaped like a barrel with diameter at the two ends and a larger diameter in the middle. Conical springs have a large diameter and one end that taper to a smaller diameter at the other. Conical springs have a smaller height when compressed than straight coil springs due to the nesting of the coils. Batter springs are a common application of conical springs. Cross-section compression springs are designed to be compressed perpendicular to the coil axis as opposed to along the axis in traditional compression springs.
